You should have a minimum of 6 years bench joinery experience and should be qualified to NVQ 3 in Carpentry & Joinery or the City & Guilds Craft equivalent.
Joiners are expected to work on the own initiative from manufacturing drawings with the minimum of supervision.
Skilled Bench Joiner
Skilled Wood Machinist
Wood machinists should be experienced in the safe setting and operating spindle moulders, morticer, tenoner, planers, band re-saw and cross cut.
Ideally you will be able 'mark over' from manufacturing drawings and cutting sheets although this is not essential as training can be provided if necessary.
Preferably City & Guilds qualified (NVQ Level 3).
